Animal Exhibitors and Vendors Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Izzy’s Animal Rescue Festival 2025, an event sponsored by Friends of Lakes Folsom and Natoma (FOLFAN), which is the Cooperating Association for the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. FOLFAN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Planning Committee
Planning Committee refers to the authorized managers of this event who have been designated accordingly by FOLFAN.

Animal Exhibitors
Animal Exhibitors are organizations dedicated to rescuing, adopting, rehabilitating, and sheltering and caring for animals in need. In most cases, it is assumed that Animal Exhibitors will have one or more live animals as part of their event exhibit. However, that is not a requirement.

Vendors
Vendors are businesses or organizations that intend to sell products or services at the event. This can range from pet ID tags to pet food to photography, to dog trainers, to food trucks. This also includes nonprofit organizations that are primarily interested in donations.

As an Animal Exhibitor or Vendor at Izzy’s Animal Rescue Festival, you are required to hold a valid California permit, license, and insurance that is appropriate for your business or organization. All state and local regulations must be met.

You must provide a current Insurance Certification and Sellers Permit or Food/Drink Business Permit (as applicable).
Food Vendors must also be permitted with the Sacramento County Environmental Health Dept. as a Multi-Event Vendor (MEV) or a Food Truck (MFF).

Add Friends of Lakes Folsom and Natoma (FOLFAN) and Folsom Lake State Recreation Area as “Additionally Insured” to your vendor insurance and that they be “held harmless from and against any and all liability.”

Submit (upload) copies of all appropriate certificate(s) or permit(s) with your completed online Vendor/Animal Exhibitor Application.

Have copies of all your necessary paperwork onsite at the event.

All displays and merchandise must be family-friendly. Vendors may not have items that are pornographic, demeaning, graphic, or generally offensive. The Planning Committee reserves the right to dismiss a vendor or remove offensive items. If you are unsure if something in your booth may be offensive, be sure to accurately describe it in your Animal Exhibitor/Vendor Application.

No amplified music or aggressive solicitation is allowed.

When on duty, your staff/personnel must remain INSIDE the assigned booth or area.

It is expected that all Animal Exhibitor/Vendor Application participants and their representatives will always conduct themselves in a considerate and professional manner while conducting business within the event’s boundaries, defined as the Day Use Picnic Area at Black Miners Bar in Folsom CA.

Alcohol sales and glass containers are prohibited.
Cannabis sales are prohibited.
Electrical, water, and ice service is NOT available.
Loud generators are prohibited.

Only items approved by the Planning Committee before the event may be sold at the festival. Any items being sold that weren’t included in the application approval process may be a reason for the Planning Committee, or its representative, to close the booth down AT THE EVENT, without refund.
This event is expressly for wildlife and for domestic pets. It is not intended for livestock, hunting or fishing interests.

Animal Exhibitor/Vendor booth spaces and fees:
10’ by 10’ $50
20’ x 10’ $75
25’ by 15′ $100

If you are an IRS approved nonprofit or government organization and will not be selling any items, or will only be soliciting donations, your fee for a 10×10 booth space is waived.

If you qualify for a fee waiver, but need more than a 10’ x 10’ space, talk to us about your needs and what we may be able to do for you.

You are responsible for furnishing/equipping your booth space. Tents, tables and chairs are NOT provided. (Electrical, water, and ice service is also NOT provided.)

You’ll need a California State Parks pass (usually this is a Poppy Pass) to enter the park in a vehicle, or you can pay $10 at the park entrance for a Day Use pass for your vehicle. (Or you can check out a state parks pass as your local library.) This park entry fee is independent of the festival and cannot be waived.
